Writing Fellowship 2024
A writing fellowship supporting people working through different stages of STS-related writing with workshops and mentoring.
Purpose
Support the completion of writing projects that draw on the social studies of science and technology.
Audience
Writers, researchers, and scholars working through STS arguments, drafts, and public-facing writing.
Why it stays relevant
Fellowship formats, mentoring structures, and writing outcomes remain useful for future editorial and training work.
Event lifecycle
Events should produce memory, not just attendance.
Each gathering can connect pre-reading, live discussion, NEXUS report-backs, Resource Hub records, and future community routes.
Before
Call, registration, readings, abstracts, or chapter outreach prepare the network.
During
Conversation, presentation, workshop, or reading group activity gathers people and questions.
After
Report-backs, resources, teaching prompts, and event records keep the event useful.
Participation routes
A visitor should know whether to attend, submit, read, document, or join a related conversation.
