STS-IN Dialogues
A public dialogue on the genealogies of Science, Technology, and Society in India with Rajeswari S. Raina, Usha Ramanathan, Dunu Roy, and Harish Naraindas.
Purpose
Create a public-facing STS conversation on the genealogies of the field in India as part of the wider conference and network event cycle.
Audience
Network members, public scholars, educators, and participants interested in the histories and futures of STS in India.
Why it stays relevant
The dialogue keeps an important public conversation and its event record visible alongside conference materials and later writing.
Event lifecycle
Events should produce memory, not just attendance.
Each gathering can connect pre-reading, live discussion, NEXUS report-backs, Resource Hub records, and future community routes.
Before
Call, registration, readings, abstracts, or chapter outreach prepare the network.
During
Conversation, presentation, workshop, or reading group activity gathers people and questions.
After
Report-backs, resources, teaching prompts, and event records keep the event useful.
Dialogue details
The original event information stays on the public page.
This event was announced as a warm-up to the wider conference cycle and invited participants to register by QR code so dinner arrangements could be made.
